The Ear, Nose and Throat (E.N.T) Specialist

The Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist will regularly examine your child to ensure that no hearing problems occur.  Of children born with a cleft condition, approximately 80% will develop “glue ear”.  This may lead to short term hearing problems.  These are usually minimal if correctly treated.

The Audiologist
The Audiologist will assess your child’s hearing as directed by the E.N.T. Specialist.
